S & D- Bungalow vs Norths
« on: September 03, 2009, 11:47:38 AM »

5th place Bungalow prepare for the visit of title chasing Norths in what could be a closely fought encounter.

The home side appear to be in a false position in the league table as they have games in hand over those above them and look to be favourites to finish the campaign in third or fourth position.

Only West Heaton have emerged victorious from the Bungalow this year (9-6.5), but they have yet to defend their Bungalow against C Division heavyweights Norths or Poynton Sports 2.

No doubt the home side will be chomping at the bit to respond to the whitewash that was inflicted at The Theatre Of Nightmares on 21st April.

Bungalow only have 1 player on the leaderboard, this being Kevin Walsh at W10, L4. Undefeated at home with mostly single figure victories.

The media have been speculating heavily on whether or not Cpt Smarty Pants will return to the side after last weeks historic result, it is my opinion that room should be made to accommodate the league average leader in order to stake a serious challenge for the away aggregate.

Any thoughts or predictions?

Brilliant pre-match build-up again Leigh. It gets the excitement zones going

CK's optimistic prediction would be a good result but just to different I'm going to say we'll give them a wakeup call tonight and get 6 winners there :w) :L) >:D
I didn't lose my marbles, I swapped them for a set of 2-10's

Van Pie has been quiet, does this mean he isn't coming tonight?

Have also realised we will be without Jonesy due to a clash of fixtures. Are we ok for numbers skip?

I think 5 winners is a good shout. It will be so easy for the aggregate to turn against us. I hope I am proven wrong:

Bungalow 8 Norths 7.5.

Bungalow 10 Norths 4.5

Looks like Smarty won the league average here. Well done skip.

I know we haven't done a man of the match award for a while (Cos we've all been great!) But J - Ho absolutely platted a very tough green tonight - nice one red top!  ;D

Thanks Smiffy but it aint over yet mate.

Agree with you there Peggy, the Pieman became the Starman tonight. His first 2 woods were witnin inches of the block and he continued that way for the rest of night walking home to a 21-7 victory on the most difficult green in the S & D. Well done Pie/Rain/Star man ;D

We have to wait and see now how Poynton get on when they play there the week after next.

The Smarty's Army drive to win the division is still on

it was a first class performance from Van PieJack. On the green, off the green, in the bar and with his motivational speaking.
