Good idea Skip!

I think that 18 players might be a little light and so more recruitment is desirable. Hope to see some applications rolling in from players suitable for both B division and D/E division. We can then decide who best fits where at the start of the season.

If we can increase the quality of the Norths 1 squad then I say that a promotion push is possible.

Hi Smarty, with all the coaching of beginners in Tameside, if there was a page where by clubs would be willing to welcome beginners and help them to advance in crown green bowling, you just might get a few more players for your extra team.
Chuck.

Skip... just to confirm what Blue Bowlers said... You cannot "double-up" in the S n D. You can only play for one team in any one week, plus you cannot play for a junior team if you have a plus average. So, to realistically to run two teams in the S n D you are looking at having a squad of 24-26 ideally, to cover for any holidays and the like.
