So how does it work? A representative from the club that require merchandise would submit items they want eg. Polo Shirts / Sweat Shirts along with the quantity. The most cost effective way is to have a generic bowling logo with the name of your club underneath it embroidered. There are various sizes and colours available. Once i have received all quantities from each club (by the end of FEBUARY) i will then reply with a cost.

If the club have their own logo this could be embroidered onto the garment for a small extra cost.

If a club wishes to see a sample of the garment this can be arranged.

The information i require is as follows:

NAME OF CLUB:

TYPE OF GARMENT(S):

COLOUR:

QUANTITY:

SIZES: S / M / L / XL / XXL

TYPE OF LOGO: GENERIC or CLUB LOGO

If there are any clubs interested, please contact me!

The way some players dress a ski suit would be an improvement.
     Lets see more teams in a bowling kit.
Chuck.

Your right in what you say but if there was a league match in the park and both teams were in club colours passersby would stop to watch and generate more interest, and possibly want to know whats its all about and hey presto, new bowlers joining more clubs. As it is no one knows if its just some guys having a friendly game of bowls.

Looking at how many people have looked at this thread there must be a lot of  interest in team colours, but sadly because there are more vets in the Tameside league we have to abide by what they want. Prime example of this is the 2 o clock start on Saturdays and one particular person wanted to put a team in if they could start at 11a.m.. This means many of the Saturday morning workers have given the Saturday league a miss, and juniors who depend on there parents to take them have also dropped out. If you want a 30 minute practice on your own green you have to be there for 1-15 impossible, and a 15 minute away practice you have to be there for 1-45 can't make it. The Tameside Saturday League will finish up as a Vets league slowly dieing unless we go back to a later start.
        Rant over.
Chuck.

Chuck you are absolutely spot on - i couldn't agree with you more. We need to go back to a 2.30pm start or even better 3pm!!! The vets can start all their own games at 2pm any weekday they want - leave our sacred saturdays alone!!!
Right idea wrong application
