Has the Norths indoor bowling campaign started yet? If so how is it going?

Norths got their Indoor campaign off to a flyer- Norths 15 Werneth Cricket 6

A couple of postponements and an indecipherable fixture sheet! Coupled with Smarty being savagely dropped from the team (Granted he was working all hours at Norths, the shop AND his actual work)

Well done on your victory men ;D

I'm just glad that I don't have to write any software around the indoor fixture sheet.

Now that would make my head explode ;jack

I think I will scan it and post it on hear for all to see. It may have been co-written by Alien because it really is from another planet

I just had a thought!

If I give up sleeping, I would have time to add an indoor bowling league section to this website complete with tables and stats etc :-\

How much do you enjoy indoor bowling when compared with Crown Green Bowling? Can you put a percentage on it?

Very difficult to measure because both games have different merits.

If I was given Sophie's choice and had to choose between Crown Green and Indoor bowls, I would have to give up Tennis :w)

A lot of it is about who you play with and since i play indoor and outdoor with the same good friends then I enjoy myself either way.

I would have to go right down the middle smiffy and say 50/50

"Sophie's choice", a forced decision in which any and all options have equally negative outcomes. The novel depicts a mother at wit's end faced with such a decision.
Right idea wrong application

Thanks for clarifying that Berty :)

You have identified what i had missed and that is that some of our younger viewers wouldn't know what Sophies choice meant.

Although you do make it sound like you have swallowed an encyclopedia. ;D

'Encyclopedia' - A comprehensive reference work containing articles on a wide range of subjects or on numerous aspects of a particular field, usually.
